Texas A&M's Bryce Anderson Stretchered off with Injury After Hit vs. Notre Dame
Texas A&M safety Bryce Anderson was stretchered off the field after a collision in the second quarter of Saturday night's Week 3 game against Notre Dame.
NBC Sports' Kathryn Tappen reported Anderson had been taken to a hospital and had feeling in his "all" of his limbs.
Anderson was injured after colliding with Notre Dame tight end Eli Raridon, who was making a catch with 58 seconds left in the quarter.
Medical workers spent several minutes treating Anderson. His pads and helmet removed before he was placed on what Tappen identified as a spine board.
The entirety of the Texas A&M roster came onto the field while Anderson was receiving treatment.
Anderson gave a thumbs up as he was wheeled off the field, sparking cheers from the crowd at Notre Dame Stadium.
Tappen said on the NBC Sports broadcast that Anderson had been taken to a Level 1 trauma center about two miles away from the venue "for precautionary reasons" (h/t On3's Griffin McVeigh).
Anderson is in his fourth season with Aggies' defense. He made 13 appearances and five starts in 2024, and recorded a tackle for loss in last fall's season opener against Notre Dame.
He had recorded six combined tackles through the first two games of the 2025 season heading into Saturday.
Texas A&M is scheduled for a bye week after Saturday night's matchup with Notre Dame before taking on Auburn at home on Sept. 27.
