Lakers' LeBron James Hypes Peter Warrick Photo from FSU's Upset of No. 8 Alabama

Los Angeles Lakers star forward LeBron James was among the many who were happy to see a former Florida State standout in attendance for the Seminoles' upset win over No. 8 Alabama on Saturday.

James took to social media to express his excitement over seeing Peter Warrick in a photo with fellow alum Dalvin Cook and Florida Sate quarterback Tommy Castellanos.

Warrick was a two-time All-American wide receiver at Florida State and a member of the program's 1999 national championship squad. His No. 9 jersey is honored by the Seminoles, making him one of just 12 players in program history to receive the distinction.

Warrick was understandably hyped to see Castellanos lead Florida State past Alabama in the 2025 season opener. The Seminoles entered the year unranked, but this win should garner some recognition from the AP Top 25.

Florida State will try to keep the good vibes going when it faces East Texas A&M on Saturday.
