LaNorris Sellers' NFL Draft Stock Hyped by Fans After South Carolina Win vs. VT
South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers displayed why he could be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft in Sunday's win over the Virginia Tech Hokies.
Sellers was responsible for both of the touchdowns scored by the South Carolina offense.
The highlight-reel play was a 64-yard touchdown pass to Nyck Harbor that sealed the victory.
Sellers' odds to win the Heisman Trophy dropped a bit after Sunday's win and the other results around Week 1 of the college football season.
Sellers also showcased his running ability with a rushing touchdown in the first quarter. He finished with 24 yards on 13 carries.
Sellers and the Gamecocks could potentially be a top 10 team ahead of Week 2 because of the losses from teams above them in the polls.
Sellers and Co. have one game left until they hit SEC play, where they will face five Top 25 opponents, including LSU and Alabama.
