
FIBA Men's AmeriCup 2025 Final Bracket, Schedule for After Semis Results
The final for the 2025 FIBA men's AmeriCup was decided on Saturday.
Two semifinal matchups contained the four teams still standing in the basketball tournament, with Brazil opening up the action with a 92-77 win over the United States.
Argentina went on to defeat Canada by the final score of 83-73.

A fourth-quarter surge from Brazil sent the United States to the third-place game for the second straight tournament.
Following a close first quarter, the Americans pulled ahead in the ensuing period and took a 14-point lead into halftime.
Team USA led by as many as 20 points in the third quarter, but Brazil chipped away at the deficit before outscoring the United States 34-9 over the final 10 minutes of action.
Yago Santos finished with a game-high 25 points and 12 assists for Brazil, while Bruno Caboclo chipped in with 20 points and nine rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting.
The United States also had issues with keeping Lucas Dias off the glass, as he finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds to go along with two blocks.
Brazil's offensive efficiency proved to be the difference in the game, ending the contest with 51.4/40.7/91.3 shooting splits as a team.

Argentina started off strong and never looked back, opening the game on a 20-5 run.
Canada struggled to match its opponent offensively, scoring just 29 points in the first half.
Argentina ended up leading by as many as 25 points in the second half and maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the duration of the final two quarters.
Jose Vildoza spearheaded Argentina's offense, as his 26 points were more than twice as many as any of his teammates. He also dished out six assists and recorded two steals, shooting 8-of-13 from the field and 7-of-9 from three-point territory.
Gonzalo Corbalan was also a key contributor in the win, finishing with a double-double by scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Corbalan racked up six assists as well.
