Ahead of Week 1 of the 2025 college football season, Powerade unveiled its latest roster of NIL athletes.

Powerade announced that it has completed NIL agreements with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, Georgia running back Nate Frazier and Iowa safety Xavier Nwankpa. The quartet was featured in a 30-second hype video for the company's "It Takes More" campaign:

Per Pete Nakos of On3.com, Powerade is "also teaming up with more than 35 NIL athletes from colleges" in addition to the four college football stars. The company will also be hosting a "Tailgate Tour" on campuses across the country, featuring hydration stations, prizes and giveaways, and exclusive athlete appearances. LSU, Georgia, Arizona State and Iowa will be featured on the tour.

"Playing at LSU means every snap is in the spotlight, and that comes with a ton of pressure," Nussmeier said in a statement. "For me, it's all about staying focused, putting in the work every day and proving I can rise to the occasion when it counts. As you'll see in this new campaign, Powerade has played a key role in fueling me with more – more focus, more drive, and more determination to become the player I know I can be."

Nussmeier and LSU will kickoff their 2025 season on Saturday against Clemson, while Leavitt and Arizona State will face Northern Arizona that night. Georgia will take on Marshall earlier in the day, and Iowa will meet Albany.
