Peyton Manning Gifts Tennessee CFB Custom Beats Headphones in Video Before 2025 Season
Peyton Manning is making sure his alma mater looks good this season when players are listening to pregame music.
The Hall of Famer gifted members of the 2025 Tennessee football team with custom Beats headphones that are white with the T logo and checkerboard design like the end zones in Neyland Stadium.
"To the 2025 Tennessee Volunteers, the work you've put in all year has prepared you for the season ahead," Manning said in a recorded video message. "Now is the time that hard work pays off. Challenge yourself and demand nothing but the best from each other. Hope these help you tune out the noise and focus on the team."
To the surprise of nobody, the gift drew quite the reaction from the team:
Manning played quarterback for the Volunteers from 1994 through 1997 and was the SEC Player of the Year and an All-American in his final collegiate campaign. He also took home the Maxwell Award, the Davey O'Brien Award and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award that season.
The Indianapolis Colts then drafted him with the No. 1 pick of the 1998 NFL draft, and he became one of the best quarterbacks in league history with a resume that included two Super Bowl titles, five league MVPs, seven First-Team All-Pro selections and 14 Pro Bowl nods.
There are plenty of Volunteers who would love to follow in his footsteps, but first their focus is on the upcoming season as they attempt to return to the College Football Playoff after losing to Ohio State in the opening round in the 2024 campaign.
If they return to the CFP, they will have some new headphones to show off to a national audience.
