Bryce Underwood, Beck, Raiola, Allar, Top CFB QB NIL Earnings Detailed in Report

Twenty-four FBS quarterbacks are reportedly slated to make at least $1 million in NIL earnings during the 2025 college football season.

On3.com's Pete Nakos revealed the full list of quarterbacks who will make $1 million or more on Thursday, headlined by Duke's Darian Mensah, Michigan's Bryce Underwood, Miami's Carson Beck, Nebraska's Dylan Raiola and Penn State's Drew Allar:

The following is a look at quarterbacks expected to be the five highest earners at the position based on reports and estimates from Nakos:

1. Darian Mensah (Duke): $4 million
2. Bryce Underwood (Michigan): $3 million
3. Carson Beck (Miami): $3 million to $3.2 million
4. Dylan Raiola (Nebraska): More than $3 million
5. Drew Allar (Penn State): At least $3 million

While it comes as little surprise that five quarterbacks are scheduled to make at least $3 million in 2025 given the popularity of college football, the name atop the list may be somewhat unexpected.

Typically considered a basketball school, Duke ponied up for a potential marquee quarterback in Mensah, who starred at Tulane last season to the tune of 2,723 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Mensah may give Duke the stability at quarterback it lost when Riley Leonard transferred to Notre Dame, and it arguably makes the Blue Devils a dark horse to compete for a College Football Playoff spot as well.

The next four quarterbacks on the list are far more predictable, led by Underwood, who was the top overall prospect in the 2025 college football recruiting class, per 247Sports.

Michigan had major issues under center last season after J.J. McCarthy departed for the NFL, and the hope is that Underwood can immediately fix things for the Wolverines at the quarterback position.

Next is arguably the most high-profile transfer in college football this season in Beck, who made the move from Georgia to Miami.

In two seasons as the starter at Georgia, Beck compiled a 24-3 record and completed 68.4 percent of his passes for 7,426 yards, 52 touchdowns and 18 picks. Now, he is tasked with replacing Cam Ward at Miami after Ward went No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans in the 2025 NFL draft.

Rounding out the top five are two returning quarterbacks with high ceilings in Raiola and Allar.

Raiola, who went viral last season for emulating and mimicking Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has high expectations surrounding him as a sophomore.

He did some good things during his freshman campaign, completing 67.1 percent of his passing attempts for 2,819 yards, although his touchdown-to-interception ratio of 13-11 needs to improve.

As for Allar, he could have potentially been a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft after leading Penn State to the CFP semifinals last season, but he opted to return for his senior season.

Allar's touchdown-to-interception ratio went from 25-2 in 2023 to 24-8 in 2024, but he made strides last season, completing a career-best 66.5 percent of his passes and throwing for a career-high 3,327 yards.

With an elite running game and defense supporting him, Allar could put himself back on the first-round radar for the 2026 NFL draft.
