Lakers vs. T-Wolves Headlines Amazon Prime Video Games on 2025 NBA Schedule

The NBA detailed which 67 games from the 2025-26 season will air on Prime Video in a Wednesday press release.

The inaugural NBA on Prime season will begin with an Opening Night doubleheader between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, followed by a matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the host Los Angeles Lakers.

The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship of the NBA Cup will also air on Prime Video when the in-season tournament takes place in December.

The NBA Cup quarterfinals are set to begin on Dec. 9, followed by the championship game on Dec. 16.

The streaming platform will lead up to the competition by featuring NBA Cup Group Play doubleheaders each Friday night from Oct. 31 to Nov. 28.

These games will feature in-group competition as determined by a random sorting of all 30 NBA teams, according to the league.

Friday, Oct. 31

  • Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7 p.m. ET
  • Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies, 9:30 p.m. ET

Friday, Nov. 7

  • Houston Rockets vs. San Antonio Spurs, 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets, 10 p.m. ET

Friday, Nov. 14

  • Houston Rockets vs. New York Knicks, 7 p.m. ET
  • Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs, 9:30 p.m. ET

Friday, Nov. 21

  • Indiana Pacers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers, 7 p.m. ET
  • Denver Nuggets vs. Houston Rockets, 9:30 p.m. ET

Friday, Nov. 28 (Black Friday)

  • Milwaukee Bucks vs. New York Knicks, 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 9:30 p.m. ET

The remaining 50 games of the NBA Cup Group Play schedule will be broadcast on ESPN, NBC and the NBA League Pass, according to the league. That includes a triple-header on ESPN the day before Thanksgiving.

The NBA previously announced the league's Opening Night, Christmas Day and MLK Jr. Day slates ahead of the Thursday release of the full 2025-26 season schedule.
