Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez Announce Engagement, Show Off Ring in IG Photo

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo and longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez announced their engagement on Monday in an Instagram post.

The pair have reportedly been dating since 2016 and have a pair of children together.

The 40-year-old Ronaldo scored 25 goals and added three assists for Al-Nassr during the 2024-25 Saudi Pro League season, though the club yet again fell short of winning a league title during the Ronaldo years, finishing third after consecutive second-place finishes in his first two campaigns.

Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad have won every Saudi Pro League title since the 2019-20 season, with Al-Hilal claiming four crowns in that time.

Ronaldo also remains a part of the Portugal national team but hasn't fared well in recent major events. He was held scoreless with just one assist during the 2024 Euros, and only managed one goal and no assists during the 2022 World Cup.

He remains the biggest name in Portugal, but whether he's the right man to lead the line at this stage in his career is up for debate. He has given no indication he plans to retire from international football anytime soon, however.
