Jaguars' Cam Little Stuns Fans with 70-Yard FG in Preseason, NFL Record is 66 Yards
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little struck a 70-yard field goal as time expired in the first half of his team's home preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.
Former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker holds the official NFL record for the longest-ever field goal at 66 yards, a feat accomplished on Sept. 26, 2021 against the Detroit Lions as time ran out to win the game, 19-17.

Fans and analysts were enthralled with Little's effort.
While Little won't hold the official record, this was a remarkable feat nonetheless, especially in an outdoor setting.
Little established himself as a weapon in his rookie season last year for the Jags, who selected the former Arkansas kicker with a sixth-round pick. He made 27-of-29 field goals and all 27 of his extra-point attempts. Little also went 5-of-6 on field goals of 50- to 59-yarders, with a long of 59 yards.
If the 70-yarder is any indication, Little is going to be fantastic this year as well, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him establish himself as one of the game's elite kickers.
We'll see if Little will get the chance to set the official field goal record this season soon enough when the Jags begin their 2025 campaign on Sept. 7 at home against the Carolina Panthers.
