
Mets' Updated Roster, World Series Odds After 2025 MLB Trade Deadline Moves
The New York Mets have been busy ahead of Thursday's MLB trade deadline.
On Wednesday, the Mets acquired reliever Tyler Rogers from the San Francisco Giants in return for relief pitcher José Buttó, outfield prospect Drew Gilbert and pitching prospect Blade Tidwell. New York also landed St. Louis Cardinals closer Ryan Helsley for shortstop Jesus Baez, pitcher Nate Dohm and pitcher Frank Elissalt.
After the bullpen additions, New York added Baltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins in return for prospects Raimon Gomez, Anthony Nunez and Chandler Marsh.

With a revamped roster, the Mets are +850 to win the World Series, per DraftKings Sportsbook, only behind the Los Angeles Dodgers (+285), the Philadelphia Phillies (+800) and the Detroit Tigers (+800).
With the trade deadline moves, New York now has a payroll of $339.8 million, per Spotrac.
