UK Back Pages: PSG Plotting £50 Million Swoop for Angel Di Maria?

The completion of the Raheem Sterling-to-Manchester City saga rightfully won all the headlines Tuesday, but Manchester United were able to steal some of the ink from their neighbours with transfer rumblings.

Star Sport relays a longstanding rumour that Paris Saint-Germain are still keen to bring Angel Di Maria to Paris and will make a £50 million move for the Argentinian.

Former United man Robin van Persie officially moved on to Fenerbahce on Tuesday, and in his welcome, he apparently took a shot at his former United and Netherlands manager, Louis van Gaal, by thanking everyone but Van Gaal.
