Chris Paul, James Harden Discussed Relationship as Rockets Teammates amid Viral Video
Chris Paul says he has reminisced with James Harden about their experience as Houston Rockets teammates since signing with the Los Angeles Clippers last week.
Paul referenced a viral clip in which he and Harden seemingly argued on the sideline of a Rockets playoff game at the 15:20 mark of his introductory press conference on Monday.
"We talked about it, and talked about the history of being there in Houston," Paul said. "And it's funny, because that clip that goes around— It was a lot of stuff, funnier and stuff like that, than that. That was just sort of our relationship. But I think that's what made that team so good. We got on each other in different situations, but that team, I can honestly say, is one of the funnest teams I have ever been on in my career.

"And James is one of those guys that loves to be in the gym, all day long. And so it's wild, that you get that opportunity again. After those two years, and the success that we had, we definitely know we have unfinished business."
Paul signed a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the Clippers ahead of his 21st NBA season.
He previously played with Harden when the duo helped lead the Rockets to a franchise-best 65 wins during the 2017-18 season.
That team came within one win of a trip to the NBA Finals before the Rockets were eliminated by Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors.
Paul and Harden returned to lead the Rockets to another playoff berth in 2019, but that time bowed out of the playoffs in the second round. Houston hasn't returned to the conference finals since.
The Clippers are meanwhile looking to record a longer postseason of their own after three consecutive first-round exits.
Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank has previously indicated that Paul, who previously started for the Clippers between 2011 and 2017, will be taking on a reserve role in his second stint with the team, per The Athletic's Law Murray.
The franchise will now hope adding Paul as another veteran backcourt option behind Harden and Bradley Beal will help give the Clippers enough depth for a playoff run this spring.
