Inter Miami star Lionel Messi recently attended a Coldplay concert and his marriage will live to tell the tale.

Messi and wife Antonela Roccuzzo were briefly spotlighted during the band's concert on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida:

Anybody going to see Coldplay live was put on notice after the awkward embrace heard around the world when the band stopped at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

The CEO of an American-based tech company resigned recently after he and the company's chief people officer were shown on the "kiss cam." The way in which they immediately turned away from the camera sparked a flurry of rumors online.

Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin quipped in the moment that "either they're having an affair or they're very shy."

Martin has now made it a point to alert concertgoers they might find themselves on the jumbotron.

Inter Miami was in action over the weekend, drawing 0-0 with FC Cincinnati at home. Messi had the night off, though, thanks to the one-match suspension he received for opting out of the MLS All-Star Game without a valid injury.

Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas asserted the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner was "very upset" with the decision. At least he made the most of his unexpected free time.
