Bill Belichick, UNC Football Docuseries Reportedly to be Released on Disney's Hulu
Fans will get an in-depth look at Bill Belichick's return to coaching at North Carolina in a new docuseries.
Per Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, Hulu will release the series that is being produced by EverWonder Studio.
A release date and title for the series are not yet known.
Hulu is a natural partner for a North Carolina docuseries. Disney owns the streaming service and ESPN, which is the primary broadcast partner for the ACC.
EverWonder Studio is an independent studio and production company. It has an impressive sports resume already, with credits on Netflix's NFL Christmas Day pregame and postgame shows and the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson boxing match.
North Carolina is one of the most intriguing teams to watch during the 2025 season thanks to Belichick's arrival. The 73-year-old is making his return to the sidelines as a head coach for the first time since parting ways with the New England Patriots in January 2024.
This also marks Belichick's first time ever coaching at the college level. He is the most successful head coach in NFL history with 302 career wins and six Super Bowl titles in 29 seasons, with 24 of them spent with the Patriots.
The Tar Heels have had success adding talent in the wake of Belichick's hiring. Their incoming class of transfers is the ninth-best in the country, per 247Sports' composite rankings.
Belichick will be tasked with turning around a North Carolina program that finished 6-7 in 2024. The Tar Heels have had four losing seasons since 2017 and hasn't won at least 10 games since 2015.
The first game of the Belichick era in Chapel Hill will be against TCU at Kenan Stadium on Sept. 1.
