The United States Space Force uniforms worn by the Air Force football team is getting an upgrade for the 2025 season.

Air Force originally introduced the Space Force alternates during the 2022 season. The uniform made its first appearance for the Falcons' home game against Navy.
The original jerseys featured a patch representing the new service’s two bases, Buckley and Peterson-Shriever. The helmet design featured a lightning bolt, an image shared between the two branches that is also the traditional logo for Air Force football team.
Details of the updated jerseys word marks of the Space Force and USSF, as well as the Space Force motto of Semper Supra that means Always Above.
Per Air Force's athletic website, the school has partnered with Space Force to provide the new uniforms that all of the teams will wear for either an individual game or series during the 2025-26 academic year.
"We are thrilled to unveil this collaboration with the U.S. Space Force to honor the men and women who make up this important service," Air Force athletic director Nathan Pine said in a statement. "As the Space Force's Academy, it is an important partnership that will showcase uniforms for each of our teams to celebrate these incredible teammates."
The United States Space Force was founded in 2019 with a mission statement to secure the nation's interests in, from and to space. It became the first new branch of the U.S. military since 1947 when the Air Force was created.
Air Force has not yet confirmed which game the alternate jerseys will be used. The Falcons open the season at home against Bucknell on Aug. 30.
