Tom Brady Stars in New Trailer for Birmingham City FC Documentary on Prime Video
Amazon released its first trailer for Brady & The Blues, which follows Tom Brady's quest to turn around the fortunes of Birmingham City FC.
The NFL legend is a only minority shareholder in the English club, but he features prominently in the documentary series based on Thursday's teaser.
Brady purchased a stake in Birmingham in August 2023, which reportedly amounts to just 3.3 percent. Still, the famed quarterback has become one of the faces of the club at the ownership level.
Things didn't go accordingly to plan immediately after Brady's arrival.
Birmingham City slumped to a 22nd-place finish in the EFL Championship in 2023-24, earning relegation to League One. The decision to sack manager John Eustace and hire Wayne Rooney proved disastrous as the club went from sixth in the table to 20th during Rooney's 15 matches in charge.
It was the worst possible way for Brady's ownership tenure to start.
Birmingham is back in the Championship, though, after dominating its League One competition in 2024-25. The Blues set a record by tallying 111 points in 46 matches and had the title wrapped up by mid-April.
Now, Brady will have his eyes on a second successive promotion.
The 2010-11 season is the last time Birmingham City was in the Premier League. It yo-yoed between England's top two divisions before getting relegated and remaining stuck in the Championship.
Ipswich Town went from League One to the Premier League in the space of three years, so it can be done.
Based on Thursday's trailer, there's no shortage to Brady's ambition with Birmingham.
