Cavs' Donovan Mitchell Trolls Knicks' Josh Hart over Yankees vs. Mets Subway Series
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell was unimpressed with New York Knicks star Josh Hart's attempt to support a New York Yankees club on its way to opening this weekend's Subway Series with two straight losses to the New York Mets.
Mitchell responded to Hart after the Mets grabbed a six-run lead over their cross-city rivals in the bottom of Saturday's seventh inning at Citi Field:

Half an hour before Mitchell's response, Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe had just homered in the top of the seventh to get the visitors within two runs of tying the score.
Pete Alonso then answered in the bottom of the frame by sending Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto home with a three-RBI home run that gave the Mets their decisive lead.
The Yankees are now in danger of falling behind 0-2 in the weekend series.
In Friday's Game 1, Jeff McNeil put the Mets ahead with a two-run homer in the seventh before Reed Garrett recorded the save in a 6-5 comeback win over the Yankees.
Both Mitchell and Hart have deep ties to their respective New York teams.
Mitchell is a lifelong Mets fan whose father, Donovan Sr., was a manager and hitting coach in the organization.
Hart was meanwhile gifted a jersey by the Yankees last September in honor of his great uncle, Elston Howard, who was the first Black player to compete with the franchise.
The Knicks star will now hope his Yankees are able to turn things around and stop the Mets from completing a potential sweep with a win in Sunday's series finale. First pitch is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. ET at Citi Field.
