He also fielded offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, Miami, Texas A&M, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, LSU, Tennessee and USC.
Wilson received his first Division I offer from Alabama in Sept. 2024 during an unofficial visit to campus for the Crimson Tide's 41-34 victory over Georgia, via ESPN's Eli Lederman. He visited the school again in June.
247Sports' Cooper Petagna was impressed with Wilson's pass-rushing potential in his scouting report.
"Long and nimble defensive end that flashes a high level of untapped athleticism off the edge as a pass rusher," Petagna wrote. "Primarily positioned in an odd front as a five technique, Wilson possesses the ability to bump inside situationally while showing the ability to utilize his first step quickness and athleticism to his advantage off the line of scrimmage."
Wilson is the latest addition to an impressive 2026 recruiting class for the Tide that's headlined by 5-star prospects such as wide receiver Cederian Morgan, cornerback Jorden Edmonds and pass-rusher Xavier Griffin.
