Ezavier Crowell Commits to Alabama, 4-Star is No. 2 Ranked RB in Class of 2026
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has secured one of his highest-ranked prospects of the Class of 2026.
Running back Ezavier Crowell, ranked as the No. 2 running back in his class by 247Sports' composite scores, announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide in a Thursday livestream.
Crowell, who currently plays at Jackson High School in Jackson, Alabama, chose DeBoer's program over Auburn, Georgia and Texas.

He is described by 247Sports recruiting analyst Cooper Petagna as a "shifty mover with good short area quickness and change of direction ability."
Petagna wrote that Crowell "projects as a high-level starter at the Power Four level," but that he will likely need an additional year to development after reclassifying from the Class of 2027.
DeBoer first made an offer to Crowell within weeks of his hiring as Nick Saban's replacement in January 2024, according to On3's Andrew Bone.
Crowell marks Alabama's second four-star commit of the 2026 class, following the commitment of Zyan Gibson.
He will also be the second running back to join the program in 2026. DeBoer previously flipped four-star running back Javari Barnett's commitment from Illinois.
When speaking with AL.com after his commitment announcement, Crowell called for five-star wide receiver prospect Cederian Morgan to follow in his footsteps.
"Cederian, come on home, man. You know where home at, bro," Crowell said.
Morgan, who is ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver and No. 12 overall prospect in the class according to 247Sports composite numbers, plays for Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander city, Alabama.
He previously told On3's Hayes Fawcett he would announce his commitment on July 2. DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will hope adding Crowell could potentially sway the wide receiver over other top options including Auburn, Florida and Georgia.
