LSU, PSU, OSU Lead 'Toughest Places to Play' on EA's College Football 26 Rankings

EA Sports unveiled its list of "toughest places to play" in the upcoming release of College Football 26 on Tuesday, and players using teams in the SEC or Big Ten will have a difficult time.

EA Sports ranked LSU's Tiger Stadium as the toughest stadium for a road matchup in the latest edition of the video game series. Penn State's Beaver Stadium and Ohio State's Ohio Stadium rounded out the top three:

EA Sports also showed a lot of love to the SEC last year, as four of the top five "Toughest Places to Play" in College Football 25 belonged to the conference with Texas A&M's Kyle Field, Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium, LSU's Tiger Stadium and Georgia's Sanford Stadium leading the way.

Despite having a strong home-field advantage, LSU has lost at least one game in four out of the last five seasons. The Tigers went 6-1 at home in 2024 and finished 9-4 overall.

The full top 25 list of "Toughest Places to Play" in College Football 26 is as follows:

  1. Tiger Stadium - LSU
  2. Beaver Stadium - Penn State
  3. Ohio Stadium - Ohio State
  4. Sanford Stadium - Georgia
  5. Bryant-Denny Stadium - Alabama
  6. Memorial Stadium - Clemson
  7. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium - Florida
  8. Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium - Oklahoma
  9. Autzen Stadium - Oregon
  10. Michigan Stadium - Michigan
  11. Kyle Field - Texas A&M
  12. Neyland Stadium - Tennessee
  13. Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium - Texas
  14. Doak S. Campbell Stadium - Florida State
  15. Camp Randall Stadium - Wisconsin
  16. Williams-Brice Stadium - South Carolina
  17. Jordan-Hare Stadium - Auburn
  18. Husky Stadium - Washington
  19. Kinnick Stadium - Iowa
  20. Rice-Eccles Stadium - Utah
  21. Notre Dame Stadium - Notre Dame
  22. Carter-Finley Stadium - NC State
  23. Boone Pickens Stadium - Oklahoma State
  24. Spartan Stadium - Michigan State
  25. Davis Wade Stadium - Mississippi State

In all, 11 of the top 25 stadiums in the toughest-stadiums-to-play rankings reside in the SEC, and eight belong to the Big Ten, taking up over half of the field.

This feature will come into play during Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory, where players will be faced with daunting environments as they try to earn road victories. EA Sports provided a taste of the unique stadiums and atmospheres in the official trailer last month:

EA Sports' College Football 26 will be released on July 10. Players can pre-order the game now, as well as the MVP bundle, which includes Madden NFL 26.
