Flagg's NBA draft destination has seemed clear since the Dallas Mavericks won the draft lottery.

The day after Dallas received the No. 1 overall pick, ESPN's Tim MacMahon reported that the team planned to select Flagg and would "not entertain the possibility of trading away the pick for a proven superstar."

The Duke standout has already reportedly visited with the team and had dinner with Mavericks players.

Flagg averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game during his lone year with the Blue Devils. He shot 48.1 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from three-point territory, connecting on 84.0 percent of his free throws.

Harper's draft range appears to be apparent as well, with ESPN's Michael C. Wright reporting June 17 that the San Antonio Spurs were "expected" to select the Rutgers guard with the No. 2 overall pick.

The 19-year-old averaged 19.4 points per game while shooting 57.4 percent on two-point field goals throughout his freshman year. He also pulled down 4.6 rebounds and dished out 4.0 assists on a nightly basis.

The Mavericks were projected to add Flagg and the Spurs were projected to add Harper with the top two picks in the latest mock draft from Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman.

The first round of the 2025 NBA draft begins on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.
