Penn State's Drew Allar Praised by Daniel Jeremiah, 'The Good Is Really Good'
NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah has been impressed with Penn State quarterback Drew Allar ahead of the 2025 season.
"I've been studying Drew Allar the last couple days," Jeremiah wrote on a Saturday post on X. "There are areas to clean up but the good is really good."
As Allar prepares for his senior year with Penn State, he's also looking to help the team build upon a promising 2024 campaign. The Nittany Lions finished with a 13-3 record, clinching a spot in the College Football Playoff as the No. 6 seed.
They defeated SMU and Boise State in the first two rounds before ultimately suffering a narrow 27-24 defeat at the hands of Notre Dame in the semifinal.
Allar put together a strong individual season, completing a career-high 66.5 percent of his throws for 3,327 yards. He also racked up 24 touchdowns compared to eight interceptions, averaging 8.4 yards per attempt.
While Allar's 2025 outlook is intriguing following the departure of standout tight end Tyler Warren in the NFL draft, the Nittany Lions made several important additions in the transfer portal, including former Syracuse wide receiver Trebor Pena and former Troy wideout Devonte Ross.
As Allar gears up for the 2025 season, there's a belief that he can take another step forward and build upon his promising college career so far.
