Aces' A'ja Wilson Returns from Concussion vs. Storm After Missing 3 Games with Injury
Las Vegas Aces center and reigning WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson returned Friday against the Seattle Storm after being in the concussion protocol over the past three games.
Wilson started the home matchup and got in the scoring column early with a turnaround jumper in the paint.

The eighth-year pro entered the evening averaging 20.9 points, 9.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game.
Wilson's return is obviously a welcome sight for the 5-6 Aces, who lost four of their last five games entering Friday. Las Vegas went 1-2 without Wilson, notably struggling offensively in the last two in losses to the Phoenix Mercury (76-70) and Minnesota Lynx (76-62).
Wilson initially suffered the injury during the Aces' 97-89 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on June 12. ESPN's Michael Voepel provided more details.
"Wilson was struck on the face as she went up to defend a drive to the basket by the Sparks' Dearica Hamby," Voepel wrote. "Wilson took herself out of the game with 1:17 left in the third quarter and immediately pulled a towel to her nose. Wilson did not return." Head coach Becky Hammon noted postgame that Wilson was bleeding from her nose.
Thankfully, Wilson's absence wasn't too long as the Aces look to move past a so-so start and surge up the standings with their star back aboard.
