Aaron Judge Says Yankees 'Can't Mope' About Struggles Amid 6-Game Losing Streak
Aaron Judge isn't letting his own struggles or those of the New York Yankees get him down.
After the Yankees' dropped their sixth consecutive game with a 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday, Judge told reporters they "can't mope" because every MLB season is full of peaks and valleys for every team.
"That's baseball," Judge said. "We know what we signed up for. You're going to play 162. You're going to hit a little rut like this, but you can't give up. You can't mope about it. You just got to show up the next day and you got to be ready to play."

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
This is the Yankees' first losing streak of at least six games since the 2023 season. That was also the only time they missed the playoffs since 2016, the year before Judge's first full MLB season.
Runs have been hard to come by for the Bronx Bombers lately. They did snap a 30-inning scoreless streak in the second inning against the Angels, but Wednesday marked the seventh straight game they have scored three or fewer runs.
Amid the Yankees' losing streak, Judge's bat has gone cold for the first time all season with just two hits in his last 23 at-bats.
This recent slide for the Yankees has also helped make the AL East race much more interesting. The Tampa Bay Rays, who are on a hot streak with 20 wins in their last 27 games, have moved within 1.5 games for the top spot in the division.
In fact, the top four teams in the AL East are all within 4.5 games of each other. The Yankees will look to end their downward spiral in the finale of their four-game series with the Angels on Thursday at 1:05 p.m. ET.
