Titans' Cam Ward to Be Featured in 6-Part Documentary 'Zero Star' on Tubi in September
The hopes of the Tennessee Titans will rest on the shoulders of Cam Ward after they selected him with the No. 1 overall pick, but the quarterback will be under the spotlight before he even has the opportunity to turn the franchise around as a rookie.
Michael Schneider of Variety reported Monday that Tubi will run a six-part documentary titled Zero Star: The Cam Ward Story chronicling the signal-caller's ascent from an unheralded high school recruit to the No. 1 pick of the 2025 NFL draft.
The series will debut in September and feature behind-the-scenes moments and interviews with Ward and people from his life, including his family, coaches, teachers and teammates.

"Cam's journey isn't just about football—it's about heart, belief, and the power of second chances," director Alec Roth said. "This series gives viewers an unfiltered look at a young man who was told 'no' at every stage yet refused to quit.
"From backyard games in West Columbia to draft night glory, Cam's story unfolds across six episodes filled with raw emotion, defining moments, and behind-the-scenes access. It's a modern hero’s journey—and a blueprint for anyone who's ever felt overlooked."
Ward was largely unknown as a high school prospect in the class of 2020 and did not have a star ranking on 247Sports. He ended up going to the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio before transferring to Washington State for two seasons and Miami for one.
While he threw for more than 3,200 yards in each of his two seasons with the Cougars, he became a household name during his one season with the Hurricanes as a 2024 Heisman Trophy finalist.
He completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns and just seven interceptions while adding 204 yards and four scores on the ground as a runner.
Miami won double-digit games for the first time since 2017, and he took home the ACC Offensive Player of the Year.
It was enough to convince the Titans to select him with the No. 1 overall pick of the draft with the hopes he would provide the franchise cornerstone at the position they have been looking for in recent years.
Ward's journey from unknown player to the top pick in the draft has already been an incredible one, and he can add to it with NFL success.
