Gold Cup 2015: Latest Group Results, Tables and Schedule After USA vs. Haiti
USA qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2015 Gold Cup as group winners on Friday in unconvincing fashion as they scraped a 1-0 win over Haiti at the Gillette Stadium.
Clint Dempsey scored the only goal in Foxborough, and after Honduras' 1-1 draw with Panama earlier in the day, the US confirmed their status as Group A winners with a game to spare.
However, Jurgen Klinsmann will expect vast improvement in the coming matches as the USA look to defend their title, as they have been below par so far in the tournament.
Read on for an overview of Day 4's action at the Gold Cup, along with updated group standings and Saturday's schedule.

Scratchy USA Beat Haiti
Klinsmann decided to make numerous changes ahead of the clash with Haiti following USA's opening 2-1 win over Honduras.
The likes of DeAndre Yedlin and Fabian Johnson were left out of the starting lineup, with U.S. Soccer providing the team:
The hosts made a slow start and and were unimpressive for much of the first half. Indeed, Haiti nearly went 1-0 up after 10 minutes when Mechack Jerome's free-kick had Brad Guzan beaten, but the ball skimmed off the crossbar.
Aron Johannsson had the ball in the back of the net 10 minutes from half-time, but it was ruled out for offside, arguably incorrectly, per ESPN's Doug McIntyre:
Jozy Altidore was pulled at half-time after a very poor performance, and his replacement Gyasi Zardes had an immediate impact.
The 23-year-old cut the ball back from the left side of the penalty area in the 47th minute for Dempsey to sweep home from 12 yards for his third goal of the tournament, and USA had their lead.
Guzan had to make a couple of sharp saves to maintain the lead and USA were under pressure at times following their opener. But they held firm and picked up the necessary win that sees them through to the quarter-finals.
It was far from a complete performance, and the US will want a much-improved effort in their final group game against Panama on Monday. But they have won the group with a game to spare and could not have asked for a much better result than that.
As for the other qualifying spots from Group A, it is all very close after Panama's draw with Honduras.
Luis Tejada's opener gave Panama the lead after 21 minutes, but Honduras were given a lifeline 10 minutes from time when they were awarded a penalty, and Andy Najar slotted home from the spot.
It was a heated encounter between the two teams, per AtTheBuzzer, with Luis Henriquez seeing red right at the end of the match:
But things are now very much in the balance ahead of the last day of play in the group on Monday, when Panama will be looking for a victory over the US and Honduras face off with Haiti.
