Manchester United Reveals 2025-26 Home Uniform Inspired by Old Trafford in New Photos

Manchester United released their new home kit for the 2025-26 season, which the club said "takes inspiration from our iconic stadium, Old Trafford."

The venue's "Theatre of Dreams" moniker is included on the back of the collar, while small design elements on the sleeve were intended to reference the legendary ground.

"The colour red is fundamental to the club's DNA," Adidas senior design director Jurgen Rank said. "There have been many different expressions of it over the years and, for this season, we wanted to do something a little different, using the sleeves as a canvas."

One thing you can already say about Manchester United's 2025-26 Premier League campaign is that it's bound to be an improvement.

The Red Devils slumped to a 15th-place finish this past year, far surpassing their previous worst position in the Premier League table (eighth in 2023-24). They also came up short in the Europa League final, which could've been a lifeline to salvage their hopes of competing in the Champions League.

Despite suffering such a serious setback, Manchester United's work in the transfer market shows the club remains a draw for talent. Matheus Cunha agreed to sign from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and ESPN's Mark Ogden reported United are looking to add Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting's Viktor Gyökeres.

Coach Ruben Amorim should benefit from having a full preseason to get his tactical vision across to the squad. Hiring a manager with such a clear identity on the pitch in the middle of the season can be tricky because it requires more in terms of training and having the right personnel.

Now, Amorim and director of football Jason Wilcox have the entire summer to tailor the club to his needs.

That means the Portuguese coach will be under even more pressure to deliver. A slow start like the one United had under his predecessor, Erik ten Hag, could put him back on the hot seat.
