Caitlin Clark Ready to Start 'Ramping Back Up' Amid Quad Injury Rehab, Fever HC Says
Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White said Caitlin Clark is "ramping back up" as she continues to recover from a quad injury.
Clark, who hasn't played since May 24, was scheduled to be re-evaluated over the weekend. White said the reigning Rookie of the Year hasn't gotten the green light to resume five-on-five activity:

As a result, Clark won't suit up for Tuesday's matchup with the Atlanta Dream, her fifth straight game out of the lineup. Based on White's remarks, her status for Saturday's tilt with the unbeaten New York Liberty could be in doubt, too.
Indiana is 2-2 so far without her, a mark that mirrors its overall performance in 2025. The Fever are seventh in the league standings with a 4-4 overall record.
Clark is averaging 19 points, six rebounds and 9.3 assists through four appearances. She opened the campaign by dropping a triple-double in a 35-point win over the Chicago Sky.
The Fever have maintained a plus-9.5 net rating with Clark off the floor, per WNBA.com.
Two-time All-Star Aliyah Boston is taking a big step forward, particularly as a scorer. She's shooting 66.7 percent overall. The roster is also deeper compared to last year thanks to the additions of DeWanna Bonner, Sophie Cunningham and Natasha Howard.
Still, everyone knows Clark is vital for Indiana to improve upon its first-round exit in the 2024 playoffs. The fact she's inching toward completing her recovery is an encouraging sign for the team.
