Terry McLaurin Reportedly 'Frustrated' with Commanders over Contract Talks
Wide receiver Terry McLaurin is reportedly "frustrated" with his contract situation as he enters the final year of his deal with the Washington Commanders.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Thursday that the Ohio State product "has made it clear to the team that he's frustrated with the lack of progress on a long-term deal" during a process that has included "minimal" discussions.
Schultz also noted McLaurin "unexpectedly left voluntary workouts after initially attending," which leaves his status for mandatory minicamp up in the air.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
On paper, it would make sense for Washington to do everything it can to ensure the veteran receiver is in the fold for years to come.
The two-time Pro Bowler finished the 2024 campaign with 82 catches for 1,096 yards and a career-best 13 touchdowns while helping lead the team to the NFC Championship Game. It was his fifth straight season with more than 1,000 receiving yards, and there is no doubting his status as the No. 1 option in the offense.
What's more, his presence is invaluable for second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Daniels' ability to build off his Offensive Rookie of the Year showing in 2024 will ultimately determine the direction of the franchise for the foreseeable future. Surrounding him with as much offensive talent as possible would be the ideal direction for Washington.
It was also clear during the quarterback's first season that he has chemistry with McLaurin. That only figures to improve as they gain more experience playing together.
While Washington added Deebo Samuel to a receiving room that also features Noah Brown and Jaylin Lane, among others, McLaurin is still the clear-cut No. 1 option. And he has plenty of leverage in any contract negotiations given his overall importance to the roster and Daniels' development.
He surely knows that, which could add another layer to any contract discussions this offseason.
