PSG won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the team's history with a dominant effort spearheaded by a pair of goals from Désiré Doué.
Mbappé previously suited up for PSG from 2017-24.
He eventually made the move to Real Madrid in June 2024, signing a five-year contract worth $16.2 million annually after taxes.
Mbappé has admitted that he still watches PSG matches despite keeping his focus on his current club's success.
“I watch all football matches, including PSG’s, of course," Mbappé said in March (h/t Yahoo Sports). "I really wish them the best. But I’m focused on Real Madrid and the historic treble we can achieve."
The 26-year-old helped PSG reach the UCL final in 2020, but the team ultimately suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich. Mbappé finished with three shots in the loss.
Real Madrid entered the 2024-25 season with high expectations after a Champions League win and La Liga title the prior year, but fell short. Los Blancos ceded the La Liga title to Barcelona.
Still, Mbappé put together a strong inaugural year with his new club. The 2024 Ballon d'Or finalist recorded 31 goals in 34 La Liga matches, finishing as the league's top scorer.
As Mbappé looks to help Real Madrid improve next season, he took some time to congratulate his former team's historic accomplishment.
