Yankees Fan Says He Was Hit By Falling Concrete at Dodger Stadium, Team Investigating
The Los Angeles Dodgers are investigating a situation after a fan said he was hit by falling concrete at Dodger Stadium during Friday's game against the New York Yankees.
Ricardo Aquino, a Yankees fan, said he was hit by the falling debris and The Athletic posted a picture of him holding the piece of concrete.

In an interview with The Athletic's Brendan Kuty that was translated by another fan, Alvaro Baeza, Aquino said he was "in some pain" but didn't sustain any serious injuries.
"He’s in some pain, but all it was, was the hit. He’s not bleeding, but he’s in some pain," Baeza said in his translation of Aquino's comments.
The Dodgers said in a statement to Kuty they are "aware of the report" and are in the process of gathering information.
According to Kuty, the situation occurred during the third inning in an area between home plate and first base. Aquino received medical attention and was visited by stadium security guards and a police officer.
One fan, Jessica Coria, was sitting in the row in front of Aquino and told Kuty they thought someone threw something.
"I thought someone had thrown something and then I was like, ‘We should get security,’ and then (Aquino) showed us the rock, and it was clearly from the stadium that fell on him," said Coria.
Dodger Stadium has undergone several upgrades and renovations since 2013, including a complete renovation of the home clubhouse last offseason, but there has been no specific mention of improvements to areas where concrete is in plain view.
The stadium is the third-oldest active in MLB having opened in 1962. Fenway Park (1912) and Wrigley Field (1914) are the only two active stadiums older than the Dodgers home park.
