Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Los Angeles Rams quarterback will be just over 40 years old by the time the 2028 Games begin.
Flag football was officially added to the Summer Olympics in Oct. 2023, with NFL owners voting in favor of allowing players to compete in the sport at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics on May 20.
As for Stafford, the veteran has remained a capable option under center for the Rams despite his 16 years of NFL experience. He earned his second career Pro Bowl nod in 2023 when he was 35 years old.
Stafford is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he threw for 3,762 yards and 20 touchdowns compared to eight interceptions in 16 games, completing 65.8 percent of his passes.
There was some uncertainty regarding a potential retirement at the end of the 2024 season, although he eventually agreed to a new two-year deal with the Rams that keeps him under contract through 2026.
Stafford will be back with Los Angeles as he attempts to help lead the team to a third consecutive playoff berth in 2025, but a flag football Olympic roster spot doesn't appear to be under serious consideration.
