Cam Ward Says He's Been Getting Advice from Will Levis amid Titans QB1 Battle
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward is in a battle for the QB1 spot with third-year pro Will Levis, but this year's No. 1 overall draft pick says he's received some advice from him as the two hope to be named the team's starter.
"He was one of the first ones to come up to me in the locker room, ready to compete and ready to get to work," Ward said regarding his relationship with Levis, per Will Backus of CBS Sports. "It's been exciting to work with somebody who has played in an actual NFL football game. So to be able to take a little advice from him, it's been good."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The elephant in the room here is that Levis has not fared well in his two years with the Titans.
The No. 33 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft was 24th in quarterback rating during his rookie year before falling to 31st last season.
He was notably benched midgame for Mason Rudolph on Dec. 15, 2024, when he threw three interceptions and lost a fumble in a 37-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Levis didn't play the next two games and alternated time with Rudolph in the season finale.
For the season, Levis had more turnovers (18 on 12 interceptions and six lost fumbles) than touchdown passes (13). In addition, Levis' four pick-sixes led the NFL even though he didn't play five games.
In fairness to Levis, he did miss three games with a re-aggravation of a sprained AC joint. However, given the results of Levis' performance, it was understandable why the Titans went with Ward.
One can safely guess that Ward should be the Titans' QB1 to start the year when all is said and done. So while it seems like Ward and Levis have a professional relationship, to the point where the latter player is giving the former one some advice, it seems like the ex-Miami star will be handling the reins soon enough.
