Terry Bradshaw Rips Steelers' Interest in Aaron Rodgers as 'Joke' amid Contract Rumors
As the Pittsburgh Steelers await a decision from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, one franchise legend ripped the idea of the team signing the veteran quarterback.
Terry Bradshaw, who led the Steelers to four championships from 1970 to 1983, is not a fan of Pittsburgh potentially signing Rodgers.
"That's a joke," Bradshaw said on 103.7 The Buzz's Morning Mayhem Show (h/t Steelers Depot's Alex Kozora). "That is to me just a joke. What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year? Are you kidding me?"

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
As for what Rodgers should do instead of signing with the Steelers, Bradshaw had a suggestion.
"That guy needs to stay in California," he said. "Go somewhere and chew on bark. Whisper to the gods out there."
Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, but he's now far from the quarterback who won four MVPs and led the Green Bay Packers to a Super Bowl. While still capable of leading a team to wins, the 41-year-old likely is on his last leg and would seemingly only stay in Pittsburgh for one season.
While Rodgers was far from the best option for the Steelers coming into the offseason, he's arguably the top option left at this point. Pittsburgh passed on taking a top quarterback in the NFL draft and didn't sign any of the top free agent quarterbacks.
With few options left, all signs point to the Steelers signing Rodgers and perhaps finding a new quarterback next offseason.
Bradshaw made it clear he won't be a fan of that plan.
