Former Ohio State and Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming was seriously injured in an ATV accident that killed his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd.

Boyd was 23 years old and attended the University of Alabama. Police said she suffered "extensive injuries" and died at the scene, while Fleming suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Fleming was a 5-star prospect and the No. 1 wide receiver in the class of 2020, per 247Sports' composite rankings. He committed to Ohio State and appeared in 38 games for the Buckeyes from 2020 through 2023.
He then transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2024 campaign and appeared in 16 games for the Nittany Lions.
McEntyre noted Fleming signed with the Green Bay Packers as a free agent after he wasn't selected in the 2025 NFL draft. However, the Packers rescinded the contract because he failed his physical three weeks prior to the ATV accident.
