Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Says Shoulder Injury Recovery Took a 'Good 5 Months'
Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb had another productive season in 2024 but ultimately had his year cut short because of a shoulder injury.
In the months since the end of the season, Lamb has been rehabbing his shoulder in an effort to be fully healthy for the start of the 2025 season. He said the recovery process hasn't been easy.
“The longest," Lamb said when asked how long it took for him to feel right, per ESPN's Todd Archer. "I want to say a good five months of real recovery and rehab. I don’t know. I’m grateful to have two arms, I can tell you that.”
Despite struggles all around for the Cowboys in 2024, Lamb had another strong year with 101 receptions for 1,194 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games, marking his fourth consecutive season with 1,000 or more receiving yards.
He managed to post those impressive numbers even after starting quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending injury in November.
But with a new head coach, Brian Schottenheimer, and a revamped roster highlighted by wide receiver George Pickens, the Cowboys should be on their way to a bounce-back season, so long as Lamb, Prescott and other key players are able to stay healthy.
