Caitlin Clark Says Fever 'Could Have Been Better' After 35-Point Win vs. Reese, Sky
After a dominant 35-point win over the Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark said the team "could have been better."
Clark notched a triple-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, adding two steals and four blocks while shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc.
Despite a strong outing from the Sky's Angel Reese, who posted 12 points and 17 rebounds, the Fever dominated in the season opener.

The Fever held Chicago to under 17 points in every quarter and topped 20 in each frame themselves, fueled by a stellar showing from the starting five—four of whom scored at least 15 points.
During the dominant win, Clark was assessed a Flagrant 1 foul after a hard foul on Reese in the third quarter—something Clark offered a simple explanation for.
"It's just a good take foul," Clark said on the ESPN broadcast. "Either Angel gets wide open 2 points or we send them to the free throw line. Nothing malicious about it. It's just a good take foul. Every basketball player knows that."
To Clark's point about playing a more complete game, the Fever committed 11 turnovers, allowed 11 fast break points and 13 offensive rebounds.
Indiana will look to improve to 2-0 on Tuesday against the Atlanta Dream.
