U.S. Soccer on Tuesday rolled out the primary and secondary kits for the men's and women's national teams.
The home design features a white jersey with blue shorts and blue and red accents on the shirt sleeves and collar. Sublimated stars are integrated into the shirts as well.

To some degree, the stars call to mind the legendary "denim" kits from the 1994 World Cup, which earned their moniker because they resembled denim jeans. They've become a cult favorite among American and casual soccer fans alike.
The away shirt didn't try anything quite as bold but still has a striking look thanks to blue and red pinstripes set against deep navy. Red outlines on the sleeves, collar and bottom edge of the shorts help to make the kit pop.

Fans will get their first look at the new shirts in action when the women's national team hosts China for a friendly in St. Paul, Minnesota, on May 31. The USWNT has four more exhibitions on tap as coach Emma Hayes continues to experiment with her lineups during a transitional phase.
The men's national team, meanwhile, has a pair of friendlies against Turkey and Switzerland in June before the Gold Cup kicks off. The USMNT plays Trinidad and Tobago, Saudi Arabia and Haiti in the group stage of the tournament. Reaching the quarterfinals will be the minimum expectation with what's a fairly winnable group.
The Gold Cup gives the USMNT a great opportunity to rebound from its back-to-back losses to Panama and Canada in the Concacaf Nations League in March.
