Brad Marchand netted the game-winning goal on Friday night to send the Panthers home with a win.
Marchand's shot from the top of the offensive zone took a deflection on the way past Joseph Woll.
Toronto was on the front foot in Game 3 for the first 24 minutes. John Tavares scored twice to open up a 3-1 lead early in the second period.
The second Tavares goal awakened the Panthers, who then went on to score three times in the second period. Jonah Gadjovich scored the go-ahead goal prior to the third intermission.
Toronto answered back just after the halfway point of the third period through a Morgan Rielly tally, but that was the last Leafs goal of the contest.
Florida now has the edge in momentum going into Game 4 on home ice on Sunday, where a Panthers win levels the series.
Winnipeg 4, Dallas 0
2 of 2
Winnipeg looked like the best team in the NHL in its Game 2 win over Dallas.
The league's best regular-season team rebounded from a Game 1 loss with a shutout of the Stars.
Gabriel Vilardi opened the scoring just three minutes and 35 seconds into the game. Nikolai Ehlers followed four minutes later with Winnipeg's second tally.
Jets captain Adam Lowry added to the advantage with the only goal of the second period.
Ehlers finished the contest off with an empty-net goal, but the game felt over long before Winnipeg's fourth tally of the night.
Dallas couldn't beat Connor Hellebuyck, who made 22 saves in his team's first victory of the series.
