Sean McVay Jokes Rams Won't Get 'S--t Done Football-Wise' During Hawai'i Minicamp
The offseason gives teams the chance to regroup after a long season, improve their squad through trades and signings and prepare for the season ahead.
But not every week is going to be productive, and Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay joked that when his team goes to Hawai'i for minicamp, they won't be hard at work on the field.
"The first thing is, let's not kid ourselves, we're not getting s--t done football-wise," McVay said.

The minicamp will take place on the island of Maui from June 16 though June 19. The team is expected to host on-field team activities with players in front of fans at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku.
Based on McVay's response, it seems the week will be more focused on team building than it will be on getting locked in for the 2025 season.
While it may not be productive from a football standpoint, the Rams will get the chance to spent time in a community that doesn't often get to experience the NFL.
"We are thrilled to return to Hawaii and for the first time in the NFL bring Minicamp to Maui," Rams president Kevin Demoff said in a statement. "Los Angeles and Hawaii share a special relationship and we are grateful to HTA for teaming with us for this historic partnership. Not only will this trip be a great opportunity for our players, coaches and their families to spend time together in a special setting, but also for our organization to celebrate and pour into youth football programs and players who call Maui home."
After returning from minicamp, the focus will likely shift more towards preparations for the 2025 season as Los Angeles looks to make a deep playoff run.
