Rams Will Hold Mandatory Minicamp in Hawai'i, 1st NFL Team to Have Camp in Maui
The Los Angeles Rams will hold mandatory minicamp in Hawai'i this summer.
The Rams plan to host the camp in Maui from Monday, June 16, to Thursday, June 19, as part of a collaboration with the Hawai'i Tourism Authority (HTA), Rams president Kevin Demoff announced Wednesday.
The "Mauicamp" will feature two on-field football sessions at War Memorial Stadium in Wailuku. One of these sessions will be open only to HTA invitees, while one will have limited tickets for the public.

This will mark the first time in NFL history a team has held minicamp in Maui, according to Demoff.
The Rams will hold multiple events with the Maui community during the camp, including flag football clinics for boys and girls.
The HTA will meanwhile serve as a presenting sponsor during a Rams home game during the 2025 season, according to the team.
The Rams and HTA are also partnering to launch a pair sweepstakes that will send one fan from the United States and one fan from Japan to the Maui minicamp.
These upcoming promotions mark the continuation of the Rams' efforts to grow the team's connection to Hawai'i, dating back to a preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys held at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium in August 2019.
The Rams have, in general, been working on expanding their marketing efforts outside the continental United States in recent years.
The franchise is set to host the NFL's first Australian regular-season game in 2026.
The Rams were also one of three NFL teams granted international marketing rights to the United Arab Emirates ahead of the 2025 season, adding the UAE to a portfolio that already contained Australia, China, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and South Korea.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the only other NFL team with commercialization rights in seven countries, according to Front Office Sports' Jeff Fedotin.
