The award is handed out annually to the "most outstanding player" as voted on by NHLPA members.
Kucherov scored 37 goals, while tying the Colorado Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon for the NHL lead with 84 assists, to claim the Art Ross Trophy with 121 points.
He joined Wayne Gretzky, Paul Coffey and Bobby Orr as the only NHL players to record 80 assists in four consecutive seasons.
Kucherov led the league with 46 power-play goals to help the Lightning rank top five in the NHL with a 25.9 regular-season success rate on the man advantage.
He also recorded at least one point in 65 of his 78 appearances this season, and marked multiple points on 33 occasions, to help the Lightning clinch a playoff berth for the eighth straight season.
The admiration fellow NHL players hold for Kucherov was clear on the 2024-25 NHLPA poll, where 48.25 percent of polled players voted Kucherov the best playmaker in the league.
Kucherov is a three-time Ted Lindsay finalist and a two-time winner, having also claimed the honor in 2018-19. He beat out Avalanche teammates Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon for the honor.
