TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins Called 'Elite' by CFB Coach After 2025 NFL Draft
After they came off the board within two picks of each other in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft last month, an anonymous college football coach lauded former Ohio State running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins.
According to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, a Big Ten defensive coordinator holds both Henderson and Judkins in high regard, saying:
"Henderson had a phenomenal final year, as a complete player. His blocking was next level, and he stayed healthy, because that's been the knock on him, his health issues. At the end of the year, you thought maybe [Henderson] might be a little bit better, but they're both elite."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There was some thought that Henderson or Judkins would have a chance to sneak into the first round of the draft, but only two running backs came off the board within the top 32 selections with the Las Vegas Raiders taking Boise State's Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 and the Los Angeles Chargers grabbing North Carolina's Omarion Hampton at No. 22.
Judkins and Henderson were the next two running backs off the board in the second round with Judkins going 36th to the Cleveland Browns and Henderson going 38th to the New England Patriots.
Henderson spent his entire collegiate career at Ohio State, bookending it with 1,000-yard rushing seasons as a freshman and senior.
He also scored double-digit touchdowns on three occasions, including last season when he rushed for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns, while also catching 27 passes for 284 yards and one score.
Although Henderson's numbers were better as a freshman, last season may have been his most impressive campaign since he remained highly productive even after the arrival of Judkins.
Judkins was a hired gun of sorts after back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons at Ole Miss, and he didn't disappoint for the Buckeyes, rushing for 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with 22 grabs for 161 yards and two more scores.
As a pair, Henderson and Judkins played a huge role in OSU winning the national championship last season.
Henderson seems like the more complete back thanks to his pass-catching and blocking ability, but Judkins is a more dynamic home run hitter.
Both possess skill sets that could allow them to thrive in the NFL, and they landed in situations that should allow for them to receive a significant amount of playing time as rookies.
