Maple Leafs Goalie Anthony Stolarz Reportedly Out of Hospital After Head Injury
Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Anthony Stolarz was hospitalized after taking a forearm to the head during the Maple Leafs' 5-4 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 1 on Monday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun reported Tuesday morning that Stolarz is no longer in the hospital. Johnston also reported that Panthers forward Sam Bennett is not expected to be disciplined for the hit that caused the injury:

Stolarz exited the game following the hit from Bennett at 7:20 of the second period and was replaced by Joseph Woll.
Johnston reported Stolarz was taken out of the arena on a stretcher.
Despite the referee's stoppage, Stolarz remained on the ice, playing for more than two minutes before skating to the bench and showing signs of distress, vomiting shortly after.
Leafs head coach Craig Berube expressed frustration with the lack of a penalty call, telling reporters after the game, “Elbow to the head. Clearly. Clear as day.” He also questioned how the officials missed the call during the play.
Bennett was unavailable for comment after the game, despite requests for him to speak with the media.
The Maple Leafs withstood a near comeback from the Panthers, who scored three goals in the third period, to secure a win in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Second Round of the NHL playoffs.
