NFL free agent defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul stated on his Instagram story that he was robbed of his $400,000 Richard Mille watch while at a Hollywood, Florida nightclub on Saturday evening.
Pierre-Paul stated he has since filed a police report, and TMZ Sports also confirmed an investigation has been opened.
Pierre-Paul said that he was enjoying an F1 weekend in Miami, having gone to the qualifying session on Saturday. He then later headed to the DAER Nightclub located in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

"I had gone to the club to support my friend Joey, who manages the VIP area," Pierre-Paul wrote in part.
"As we stepped out of VIP to check out the dance floor, we immediately realized it was way too packed to move through. As we turned to head back, a group of people began surrounding us and closing in on us, making it difficult to get by. I instantly got a bad feeling and instinctively checked my pocketsโmy phone and wallet were still there. I didnโt even think to check my wrist.
"Once we got back in VIP, somebody casually asked me for the time. Thatโs what I noticedโmy $400,000 Richard Mille watch was gone, stolen right off my wrist without me noticing. We rushed out to the spot where weโve been surrounded to look for the watch, and thatโs when I recognize two of the same guys from before. I gave them a look, and they immediately took off, running into the crowd."
Pierre-Paul then said that security was "completely unhelpful" and a responding police officer was "shockingly rude and dismissive."
He then added that another woman was "targeted and robbed" for her Richard Mille watch by the same group.
The 36-year-old also stated that he has since filed a report with police.
Pierre-Paul played in the NFL from 2010 to 2023 with the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. He amassed 631 tackles and 94.5 sacks.
The man nicknamed "JPP" is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro, earning that honor in 2011, when his 16.5 sacks were fourth in the league and helped the Giants win the Super Bowl.
