Browns Drop Hype Video for Shedeur Sanders, Mason Graham, 2025 NFL Draft Picks
The Cleveland Browns released a hype video for what turned out to be an extensive draft class, notably selecting defensive tackle Mason Graham, linebacker Carson Schwesinger, running back Quinshon Judkins, tight end Harold Fannin Jr. and quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders, of course, famously wasn't selected until the fifth round after the Browns had already made six other picks.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Browns' draft will be divisive. There will be those who don't understand why they bypassed the extremely talented and unique Travis Hunter at No. 2, instead choosing to trade the selection to the Jacksonville Jaguars for No. 5, a second-round pick (No. 36), a fourth-round selection (No. 126) and a 2026 first-rounder.
It was quite the haul, but it meant no Hunter.
There will be others who will be confused by the selection of Gabriel in the third round, especially with Sanders still on the board and later drafted by the team anyway. Gabriel was ranked No. 16 on the B/R NFL Scouting Department's final big board, the equivalent of a fifth-round pick. And the Browns now have five quarterbacks on the roster, including Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and Deshaun Watson.
The counterarguments are that the Browns had needs all over the roster, and loading up on draft picks—including the 2026 first-round selection—was more valuable to Cleveland than adding the two-way Hunter. Certainly, the Browns have more ammunition to move up the draft board next year for a potential franchise quarterback.
And yes, the Gabriel pick was curious, but at the time the Browns likely didn't believe Sanders would fall to the fifth round. If nothing else, the team now has plenty of options to consider at quarterback as they move past Watson.
It's very much a "throw enough darts and hope something hits the board" strategy for 2025, but at least they have options.
Now, if the Browns yet again select a quarterback at the 2026 draft, will the allocation of resources on the position this year look questionable? Perhaps. But it's not as though the team didn't address other needs. Graham, Schwesinger, Judkins and Fannin should be immediate contributors, and one of the two quarterbacks drafted has a very good chance to win the starting job.
All in all, the Browns had a very notable draft class. Time will tell if it was also a good one.
