Nick Chubb, Browns Reportedly Discussing Return Amid Quinshon Judkins NFL Draft Pick
The Cleveland Browns have had "recent dialogue" with running back Nick Chubb and the "door is open" regarding a potential return to the team, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Cleveland selected Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft on Friday, but the team still appears to be open to signing Chubb.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Chubb spent the first seven years of his career with the Browns before hitting free agency at the end of the 2024 season.
The 29-year-old steadily blossomed into one of the league's top running backs after he was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft, earning Pro Bowl honors in four consecutive years from 2019-22.
Through his first five seasons in the NFL, he amassed 6,341 rush yards and 48 touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
Chubb's 2023 campaign came to an early end, suffering a torn MCL and damaged ACL in Week 2 that ended his season. He returned in the middle of the 2024 season, but missed the team's final three games of the year due to a broken foot.
While Chubb's days of being a workhorse running back could be over, Cleveland might choose to use a committee approach with him alongside Judkins and Jerome Ford.
Chubb previously confirmed his desire to re-sign with the team on Feb. 7.
"Of course," Chubb told Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. "This is where I was drafted. This is where I've played the last seven years."
The Browns will be looking to improve on the ground in 2025, as their rushing attack ranked No. 29 in the NFL last season and played a large role in their overall offensive struggles.
While Cleveland picked up Judkins on Friday, Chubb's possible return still seems to be on the table.
