Hunter is ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect on the final big board from the B/R NFL Scouting Department.
With the Titans expected to select Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick, the B/R Scouting Department projected Hunter to go to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 2 selection in its final mock draft.
Hunter won the Heisman Trophy after playing almost every snap during his senior season for Colorado, recording 1,258 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns on one side of the ball and adding 36 tackles and four interceptions on the other.
The two-way star has said multiple times that he expects to continue playing both offense and defense in the NFL. He went so far as to tell CBS Sports' Garrett Podell earlier this month that he would rather quit football than choose one position.
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday he believes Hunter is "uniquely equipped" to play both sides of the ball.
"You know, I remember having a conversation with him about, there's only so many hours in the day, so you're going to have to meet extra with this coach or that coach, and he made a comment that he's a fisherman," Stefanski said, per the team's transcript. "He gets up at 5 in the morning quite often, so that's not a problem for him in terms of maximizing his day."
Hunter is one of 16 players the NFL previously announced would be attending Thursday's draft in person, according to ESPN.
Other invitees included Alabama's Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell, LSU's Will Campbell, Penn State's Abdul Carter, Texas' Matthew Golden, Michigan's Mason Graham, Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, Michigan's Will Johnson, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, Alabama's Jalen Milroe, Ohio State's Josh Simmons, Georgia's Malaki Starks, Texas A&M's Shemar Stewart, Miami's Cam Ward and George's Mykel Williams.
Round 1 of the draft kicks off Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET.
