Police responded to an altercation involving Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan at a sushi restaurant in Calabasas, California, according to TMZ.
The incident took place Friday night at Yume Sushi, per TMZ.
Sgt. Brandon Painter of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the Sacramento Bee's Jason Anderson that the incident is under ongoing investigation.
TMZ shared a 28-second video that appeared to show people separating DeRozan from a man at the restaurant:
DeRozan averaged 22.2 points, 4.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in his first season with the Kings.
He has two years remaining on the three-year, $73.9 million deal he inked as part of his trade-and-sign from the Chicago Bulls last summer.
The Kings' season ended on Wednesday night with a 120-106 play-in loss to the Dallas Mavericks at home. DeRozan led his team with 33 points in the elimination defeat.
